                      ROUND  1

This is the first of a twelve rounds series entitled "Welcome to Wall Street" as indicated by the sign held by the rat. With the strokes of his brush, Smith Georges the artist, captures the vitality and energy of a post 9-11 Wall Street. The painting depicts the resilience of the American spirit. In it, the resolute and brave Wall Street bull, symbol of capitalism, confronts the sneaky and ferocious Wall Street bear in a "mano-a-mano" street fight. The Statue of Liberty leads the cheer to better days by holding up signs that call for remembrance, rebuilding and for "buy" (buy stocks). Trading is taking place in the street, reminiscent of the curb brokers back in the early 1900s.  Further down, the Bear, who climbs the pole,  is being chased by the Bull.  The NYPD 1st precinct car, the MTA M1-bus, the yellow cabs, the FedEx truck, the Subaway station, the Wells Fargo truck, the U.S. flags are all part of a Wall street daily activities.

                                  ROUND  2

"Round 2" is taking place next to The American Stock Exchange and the World Trade Art Gallery. The Bull unloads a combination of left and right hooks, and the vicious Bear loses his composure and goes straight for a bite of the bull’s left ear copycatting another famous ear biting.

                                              ROUND 3

Round 3 is developing near the New York Stock Exchange.  The Bear is caught by a solid left hook.  The Statue of George Washington leads the cheer this time by holding a sign that calls for "Buy" reminding investors to invest in the stock market.  Lady Liberty holds signs also that calls for rebuilding, buying stocks and remembrance of the September, 11, 2001 Heroes.

ROUND 4

Round 4 is taking place at the intersection of Cedar Street and Broadway near HSBC Bank (Wall Street branch, 120 Broadway), which is located in the landmark "Equitable Building".  The Gray Line double-deck sightseeing bus passes by with excited and curious tourists who enjoy the bull-Bear street fight.

ROUND 5

In Round 5, the fight continues near HSBC Bank, 120 Broadway in Wall Street Financial District. The Bull delivers a right uppercut to the Bear, who  becomes very angry and adopts a "Karate Kid" kung fu position. Further down, Baby Bear and Baby Bull are having their own number on top of a yellow cab.

ROUND 6

The Bull and the Bear take the fight to the # 4 and #5 North bound Wall Street subway Station.  While the oncoming #4 tarin is advancing, the rat sits on the tracks while holding the sign that indicates the 6th round.  On the subway platform, passengers are watching and a TV crew from a WSNY TV (Wall Street New YorK TV) are recording and reporting the whole event.

ROUND 7

The Bull and the Bear take the fight to the air above Lower Manhattan.  Hanging from the Wall Street Express USA helicopter, the Bull holds the Bear by the throat. The omnipresent rat is enjoying a ride inside the helicopter while holding the 7th-round sign.  The question remains, will the  Bull and the Bear be able to continue their fight while suspending from a chopper?  Stay tuned for the next round.

ROUND 8

After a intense moment of fighting by hanging from the helicopter, the Bull and the Bear seem to lose their grips.  Fortunately, they manage to put on their parachute before they let go of the helicopter; however, the fight goes on while the Bull and the Bear parachute toward Lower Manhattan.

ROUND 9

The Bull and the Bear agree to cease fighting for a while in order to reflect on the Tuesday, September 11, 2001 tragedy.  Sitting close to each other and contemplating the New york skyline, the Bull and the Bear adopt a different attitude and become reflective.  They stop being hostile to each other for a moment just to honor and remember the 9/11 victims.

ROUND 10

In an imaginary urban/caribbean golf course setting overlooking the skyline of Manhattan, the Bull plays golf before the final crucial two rounds while the pain-in-the-butt Bear brings his family along, baby bear and mama Bear.  They stand on their speed boat in fighting mode just to provoke the Bull.  It's worth mentioning at this point the man dressed in black shirt with the American flag on his back, and carrying two bags of money everywhere he goes.  He is present in all the rounds except one.  We should not also forget the tourist dressed in white "I Love New York" T-shirt and blue jeans.  He is always armed with his camera to capture the actions of the Bull and the Bear in the financial district.

ROUND 11

It's getting uglier.  A combination of right and left hooks fly on both sides; then a flurry of punches ensue and the Bear hits the canvas and gets right back up.   An exchange of Jabs and uppercuts follow.  The Bull gets caught by a right jab and after the smoke is clear, the bull found himself on the canvas gasping for air.  Wall Street feels the pain - but The confident and determined Bull is saved by the bell.  The match is not over.  Stay tuned for he final round.

ROUND 12

The bruised and bloodied Bull manages to deliver to the ferocious Bear a knockout punch.  Lying on his back, the dazed and confused Bear holds in defiance a sign that reads "I'll be back".  A TV reporter interviews the defeated Bear while the Bull raises both of his hands holding the championship belt victoriously in the air.  The belt reads "Wall Street Champion".  Wall Street celebrates.  Will there be a rematch in 2009? Stay tuned!
