Haitian-American artist Smith Georges' latest controversial artwork
(Acrylic/Collage on canvas) entitled "Let's Have a Beer Stupid" will
be on display. The artwork is about Pres. Obama's
latest use of Beer Diplomacy to solve the Gates-Crowley issue.

 A Stunning State of Creative Visual Art to Honor
 Barack Obama, 44th President of United States
 
The International Agency for Minority Artists, The NYS State Office Of
general Services ACP State Office Building and The Museum of African
American will present a first historical visual art exhibition, media film
clip screenings with audio sound art and artist discussions all to give
Honor to Barack H. Obama, the First African American as The 44th President
of The United States of American on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, form 5:30pm to
9:00pm.
 
This first and unique exhibition is entitled "I’m Profound Audacity"
featuring newly created visual artworks inspired by Obama' s Presidential
campaign to his Inauguration, artists works includes paintings, photography,
collages, mixed media, drawings sculpture figurines all to give Honor on the
President Obama's birthday as well.
 
Visual Artists in the exhibition are: Renaldo, Davidson, Cynthia Burgos,
Estos, James Hill, Sonia Barnett, Nikki Williams, Smith Georges, Juanita
Evans, Nate Ladson, Michele Walker, and Carla Chapelle. In addition the
exhibition will include the collection of Earl Pinto, Curator of the NY
African American Historical Society.
 
"I’m Profound Audacity" art exhibition will open officially on *Tuesday,
August 4, 2009*, in the Art Gallery of the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State
Office Building, 163 West 125th Street 2nd Floor. The art exhibition is open
to the public as free admission on open day, and the following dates and
times of August 5 through the 7th from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.
 
To public visit after opening week is by appointments only, and by placing a
call into (212) 749-5298 or <iamaa@pipeline.com>. The exhibition is on view
through September 11, 2009 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm closing day.
