ARTIST STATEMENT -
"Who would have predicted that the Haitian-American neo-expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat’ s paintings would be sold today on the market for millions of dollars a piece?  Art is a medium that we are to enjoy then be left to the future generations.  Investing in art is not just rewarding financially; it also brings you closer to the creative world.  My creations will outlive me one day.  It’s unfortunate that artists, particularly, in the fine arts world, most of the time, become famous posthumously (after death).  Such as posthumous fame Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh and French  painter Paul Gauguin.

A blank canvas in front of me is a world with infinite possibility.     We all belong to the creative world with various forms of expression.  May it be poetry, dance, fine arts, etc... - to me, it's a matter of reaching inside of us and connecting with our inner-self , then we can transfer the emotion and the vision on canvas where we let them flow freely.  Once conceptualized, ideas can be taken to the visual level, which is what artists do best.  We are all gifted with some sort of  unexploited  talent.  We live in a beautiful and harmonious universe.    Our ideas float in the cosmos.  Our mind is an infinite source of  creativity.
